THE AGENCY will always:
• Ensure that all Gas appliances are inspected and regulated by a CORGI (Council of Registered Gas Inspectors) Engineer and issue a safety certificate before the tenancy commences.
• Ensure that all Electrics throughout the property are checked by a qualified electrician. An NIC / EIC (National Inspection Council / Electrical Installation Contracting) report will determine the safety of the electrics within the property.
• A PAT (Portable Appliance Test) will be carried our on electrical items provided within the property.
• Provide smoke alarms, fire blankets and fire extinguishers as standard.
Ensure that all furniture meets the BS 7177 kite mark. In short, items of soft furnishing will have flame proof materials within.
When you lease a property through THE AGENCY, in many cases, we will act as a managing agent. We have a 24 hour response team to act in the event of an emergency occurring.
